Forgot My Brain at Home

Most of the time, although I am carrying my transit pass, they don't check fares on the light rail.
Well, the one day that I forgot my wallet, they check. I didn't know about it until then, several stops down the line, toward school.

So they had me get off the train, which I thought would mean I'd get away with it this time, because I had a couple times without a fare and they just let me go. But they actually decided to go through the whole schpeel of checking my identity with the police, and promising a gift of a citation in the mail.

I'll just fight the ticket, showing that I have a semester pass from school, but it was a hassle and I was late.

Not fun. Not good.

Just a reminder to keep your brain attached at all times, and don't leave home without your wallet!

(I usually slap my butt pocket to verify I have it. Why didn't I do that today?)
