I've got everything squared away and am ready to register for classes and return to school in the fall- for counseling.
However, as I've begun to think that art therapy might be the way to go, as well as Feng Shui, for serving people to help them improve their lives, and because I still want to reach success as an actor, I'm still going to apply to art school and add that extra possibility. Worst case, I could only be denied- or get in, and not be able to afford it.
It is possible that I'll never finish due to the demise of the system, but it's the journey that counts. We are not going to face the end of the world any time soon; we're only talking about the end of the system , in or about 2012. The fall of government and the monetary system of oppression, etc...
A visit to the campus suggested it is more conducive to learning the the public colleges and universities I've been familiar with. A very pleasant place, with a mall-like food court. Even if it does have just one eatery within it.
It's not that hard to see that no wrenches were thrown in your way by the addition of an extra step. An AS in Social & Human Services, can only enhance a resume until the BS and MS are earned. No doubt it could also add enhanced credibility as a hypnotherapist, although at least the Bachelor's is better. It might be a little Tacky to put AAS behind one's name, in this case.
Speaking of dreams, my friend Abraham Mendoza is a talented artist, both pursuing and inspiring dreams. He looks like he could be the next Picasso...my money's on it.
